대한민국의 남해 위에 떠 있는 섬들의 사진으로부터 복셀 데이터를 제작하고 우리가 지각하는 ‘이미지’를 기술로 가공해 다른 차원으로 보여준다. 추출된 복셀 데이터는 멈춰진 정보지만 노이즈가 발생시킨 임의의 운동성을 가지고 움직이게 된다. 이 운동성으로 인해 사진의 이미지는 해체되고 그것이 섬인지 물질인지 입자인지 알 수 없는 지점으로 변주된다.

She produces voxel data from photos of islands floating on the South Sea of Korea and processes the “image” we perceive with technology to show it in a different dimension. The extracted voxel data is stopped information, but it moves with arbitrary motility caused by noise. Due to this motility, the image of the photograph is dismantled and transformed into a point where it is unknown whether it is an island, matter, or particle.
